About

Founded in 1987 by George Kurjanowicz, Kurjanowicz Sculpture Studio, LLC has grown to serve as an essential stone sculpture resource. The studio provides design, production, and educational services at its facilities in the heart of Barre, Vermont.

George designs and creates monumental, architectural, contemporary, and public sculpture for clients both in the United States and abroad. While granite has always been the mainstay of studio commissions, other materials such as bronze, wood and marble also have been an integral part of studio designs. The studio is available for orders and bids year round. All work is quoted on an individual, per-project basis.

The studio is also strongly committed to education, having collaborated with Vermont educational programs in providing training and instruction to students and apprentices.

Kurjanowicz Studio is located in Websterville, Barre Town, Vermont in the Adams Granite Co. Facility at 58 Pitman Road. Barre is just a few short minutes from I-89 by either Exit 6 or 7.

Thanks Pam, It took a while to finally get mobilized. Losing my original domain name got me going. I had take a WordPress course in 2014 and had the basic outline of the site started but never finished it. It now reflects where I truly am in my career. I’m glad you like it.

Beautiful work. Who knew you had that much talent? Didn’t surface in Northwest Jr. high. Good for you!! I get up north from time to time, maybe I will pay you a visit. I actually thought you became a doctor. Russ

Hey Russ, the doctor thing did not work out. I eventually discovered that my skills lay elsewhere. I have had a pretty good run up here in Vermont. I only wish I still had another twenty or thirty years of doing this ahead of me. You are more than welcome to stop by the shop if you find yourself up here in the northern boonies. My contact info is on the web site. Let me know how you have been.
